Job Description
We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and brand communication.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with major social media platforms and have a strong interest in creating engaging content. You will work with the social media, design, and marketing teams to support content planning, publishing, trend research, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing social media content
- Research trending topics, formats, and content ideas
- Assist with captions, hashtags, and social media copy
- Support scheduling and publishing of social media posts
- Monitor social media trends and audience engagement
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video creators
- Assist in maintaining content calendars
- Support social media campaigns and promotional activities
- Track basic social media performance and engagement
- Suggest creative ideas for improving social media presence
Requirements
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of Canva is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Understanding of social media trends and content formats
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics
- Interest in content creation and digital marketing
- Previous social media experience or academic projects are a plus
