Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who is an expert in the React ecosystem to lead the development of our healthcare and medical billing platforms. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-performance user interfaces and complex healthcare logic, ensuring our systems are fast, secure, and compliant with US healthcare regulations.
You will be responsible for building intuitive dashboards that simplify Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and developing robust back-end integrations that handle sensitive patient and financial data.
Responsibilities
- Frontend Excellence: Build and optimize sophisticated, high-performance web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Billing Workflow Automation: Architect digital solutions for the end-to-end billing lifecycle, including claim submission, denial management, and patient statements.
- Healthcare Interoperability: Implement and manage EDI (X12) transactions (837, 835, 270/271) and integrate with EHR/EMR systems using HL7 or FHIR standards.
- Security-First Development: Maintain strict HIPAA compliance across the full stack, focusing on secure authentication, data masking, and encrypted transit.
- API Architecture: Design and consume secure RESTful APIs that connect our platform with major US clearinghouses and insurance payers.
Technical Requirements

Expert React Skills
Deep knowledge of React hooks, Context API, and state management (Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query).

Frameworks
Mastery of Next.js for Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) to ensure SEO and performance.

Styling & UI
Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Styled Components to build clean, professional healthcare interfaces.

Backend & Database
Strong proficiency in Node.js or .NET Core.
Expertise in SQL Server or PostgreSQL for managing complex relational billing data.

Healthcare Specifics
Practical experience with ICD-10/CPT code integration.
Experience handling EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) data processing.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience with React and modern full-stack development.
- Proven experience in the US medical billing or healthcare IT sector.
- Solid understanding of the clearinghouse ecosystem (e.g., Availity, Change Healthcare).
- Experience with TypeScript is highly preferred for maintaining large-scale healthcare codebases.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex billing requirements into technical specifications.
