Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Medical Coder with strong analytical and technical skills to ensure accurate assignment of diagnostic and procedural codes. You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance, optimizing reimbursement, and supporting quality patient data management.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze patient records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with official coding guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and payer requirements.
• Perform regular audits and provide feedback to improve coding accuracy and documentation quality.
• Collaborate with billing and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Stay updated with the latest coding regulations and payer policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in medical coding software and EHR systems.
